Singer
Matthew sings bass with the Capital Chamber Choir, where he is Bass 2, and the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir, where he is the bass lead. Baritone Brett Polegato has played an important role in his vocal training, helping shape a voice marked by depth and resonance in choral and operatic settings across Canada.

Composer
Matthew has written and had performed over 200 pieces. He began composing at 11, first in pop and EDM production, and began formal classical composition in 2023. His focus is choral and sacred music: he is composer-in-residence at St. Joseph’s Parish in downtown Ottawa, a published composer with Cypress Publishing, and his music has been sung by the Capital Chamber Choir, Ontario Youth Choir, York University Chamber Choir, and the Ottawa Bach Choir.
